NSF-EPSCoR/IFN doctoral fellowships will be awarded only in the area of nanotechnology, in order to increase the number of graduates in this research area, thus making a significant contribution to the diversity of the nanotechnology workforce.

Application Requirements: |
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale
- Evidence of Ph.D candidacy
- Have previous research experience
- Evidence of satisfactory academic progress according to the program’s schedule
- Official transcript from undergraduate and graduate institutions
- List of extracurricular activities
- Statement of professional goals (1 page)
- Brief thesis research proposal (3-4 pages) signed by IFN mentor
- List of authored or co-authored publications and presentations
- Two letters of recommendation (one must be from your IFN mentor and the other from a nanotechnology researcher)
- Progress report from previous RCSE fellowships, if applicable
- Fill out application form and submit with all required documents
